Forging Future Leaders: The Investiture Ceremony at Little Angels School, Sonipat

The Little Angels School, Sonipat, hosted a grand and dignified Investiture Ceremony for the newly formed Student Council for the 2026-27 academic session. The school campus was vibrant, reflecting a strong sense of discipline, enthusiasm, and leadership. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of the Principal; Ms. Asha Goyal, Vice-Principal; Ms. Geeta Arora, and other distinguished members of the Management.

The ceremony commenced with a flag-hoisting ceremony followed by the collective rendition of the school anthem, filling the atmosphere with a spirit of patriotism and unity. Thereafter, the members of the newly elected Student Council were formally introduced. For this academic year, Aarav (XI Ruby) was appointed as the Head Boy and Manasvi (XI Topaz) as the Head Girl. Upon taking their oaths, both students pledged to uphold the dignity of the school, strengthen discipline and work diligently for the welfare of the student body.

Leadership roles were also designated for the various school houses as follows:

Lavanya House is led by Captain; Kanishka Khatri (XI Topaz) and Vice-Captain; Aahna Jain (XI Ruby), Aastha House by Captain; Navika Balyan (XI Topaz) and Vice-Captain; Anvi Kamboj (X Topaz), Samarthya House by Captain; Akshat Mishra (XI Topaz) and Vice-Captain; Plaksha Dutta (X Topaz), Siddhant House by Captain; Urvashi Surve (XI Sapphire) and Vice-Captain; Ananya Singh (X Diamond), Spardha House by Captain; Pakhi Narang (XI Ruby) and Vice-Captain; Preksha Jain (XI Ruby), and Surbhi House by Captain; Geetanshi Chaudhary (XI Topaz) and Vice-Captain; Aayeshi Sharma (XI Topaz). Furthermore, to ensure the effective management of sports activities, Nishant Deshwal (XI Topaz) was appointed as Sports Captain and Utkarsh Kadyan (XI Garnet) as Sports Additional Captain.

During the oath-taking ceremony, all newly elected members vowed to discharge their duties with utmost sincerity, honesty, and dedication. In a symbolic transition of responsibility, the outgoing Student Council presented the new members with caps, badges, and sashes, signifying a tradition of continuity. The members of the outgoing Student Council were presented with certificates of appreciation for their outstanding contributions.

In their address, the newly appointed Head Boy and Head Girl pledged to maintain an environment of discipline, cooperation, and positivity. The Chairman; Sh. Tarsem Kumar Garg and the Secretary; Dr. Vishal Garg, congratulated the new council and wished them a bright future. In her inspirational address, Principal; Ms. Asha Goyal remarked "Leadership is far more than a title to be worn. It is a light to be carried within. If you listen to the true pulse of Little Angels School, you will realize that leadership is never a loud command. It is the quiet rhythm of a disciplined life. This is the steady, invisible work that turns a simple effort into a shared masterpiece." She further emphasised that success is attained by those who remain dedicated to their goals. Vice-Principal; Ms. Geeta Arora further inspired the students, adding, "The most meaningful work is not found in a loud voice, but in a sincere spirit. When the clarity of your mind, the strength of your hands, and the passion of your soul work as one, your influence becomes an echo that inspires others to follow."

The ceremony concluded amidst an atmosphere of pride and enthusiasm. This event not only symbolised the transition of leadership but also proved to be a significant step towards fostering responsibility, discipline, and team spirit among the students.
