Community Outreach

One person can make a difference, and everyone should try.

-John Fitzgerald Kennedy

The school’s aim is to sculpt socially sensitive citizens. To instil the ethos of philanthropy, compassion and humanitarianism, the school encourages students to volunteer to work for an NGO – GOONJ- A VOICE, AN EFFORT - a school to school campaign in which they contribute their old uniforms, school bags, stationery, books, toys etc.

The School is also a part of the SAVE WATER CAMPAIGN- a large number of activities such as songs, painting competitions, graffiti board activities, poster making, designing pamphlet, poetry recitation and placard making are held. Besides these activities, seminars, workshops and rallies are also organised by the students and the teachers are given the responsibility to create awareness among the students.

The School has remained in the forefront in providing relief and rehabilitation to the victims of natural calamities. The school contributed Rs. 2,50,000/- in PM relief fund during natural disasters in Uttarakhand and Jammu & Kashmir.

Such programs are conducted regularly to expose students to experiences that would contribute to them in becoming effective members of the society. Community Outreach is an effective way to inculcate the values and the concept of giving something back to the society.
