Little Angels School, Sonipat, recently concluded its annual 'Charity Week' celebration, a week-long extravaganza that epitomized the spirit of compassion, generosity, and kindness. This collective effort brought together students, parents, and staff to make a positive impact on the lives of the underprivileged.
The charity drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from parents, who generously donated essential items such as medicines, food, blankets, books, toys, and clothing. Students visited various institutions, including leprosy ashrams, orphanages, and old-age homes, engaging in meaningful interactions with the inmates and presenting them with gifts.
The true essence of Christmas – spreading love, kindness, and compassion – was palpable throughout the event. Students made this festival memorable by spending quality time with needy children, feeding animals at protective cow shelters, and interacting with the elderly at old-age homes.
The school's efforts to inculcate values of empathy and social responsibility among its students are truly commendable. School Chairman; Sh. Tarsem Kumar Garg, Secretary; Dr. Vishal Garg, Principal; Ms. Asha Goyal, and Vice Principal; Ms. Geeta Arora applauded the students' selfless contributions and wished them a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
The School Principal; Ms. Asha Goyal encouraged the students to continue spreading kindness and compassion, stating, "We must strive to improve the lives of the weaker and deprived sections of society." The school's commitment to nurturing empathetic and socially responsible individuals is truly praiseworthy.
The event concluded with a joyous picnic, where 50 children from the Spread Smile Foundation joined the students for a fun-filled afternoon of games, rides, and entertainment. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and cheer, as the children forged new friendships and created unforgettable memories.
