Little Angels School Celebrated Basant Panchami

Little Angels School was bubbling with religious fervor and enthusiasm on the occasion of Basant Panchami. It falls on the Fifth day of Magha month of Hindu calendar and marks the arrival of the spring season. The School celebrates this day as ‘Maa Saraswati Puja Day’ the epitome of wisdom, music and art. To mark the occasion, a special ceremony was held on 16 Feb, 2021. The ceremony started with School Chairman; Sh. Tarsem Garg, Secretary; Dr. Vishal Garg, Ms. Dipika Garg, the School Principal; Ms. Asha Goyal, Vice Principal; Ms. Geeta Arora, the Principal, Little Angels Inclusive School; Ms. Sonia Arora and other dignitaries present on the occasion. The students of Angels Inclusive School and Primary classes presented a divine rendition of Shalokes and ‘Saraswati Vandana – Var de Veena Vadini’.

The staff and students offered seasonal floral tribute to the idol of ‘Maa Saraswati’, who arrived decked up beautifully in radiant shades of Yellow. The School Principal explained the significance of Basant Panchmi to the students. Its association with yellow colour, the blooming of mustard flowers and the arrival of spring were also elaborated. The School Secretary; Dr. Vishal Garg, Ms. Dipika Garg and Vice Principal showered their blessings over the Angelians and wished for the happy, healthy, prosperous and peaceful world.

Basant Panchami celebration is incomplete without seasonal delicacies. In the end ‘Yellow Meethe Chawal’, the mouthwatering Prasad was distributed amongst all.
