Ras Kala Manch, Safidon (Haryana) celebrated a three days festival in Little Angels School, Sonipat from 9th January, 2020 to 11th January, 2020. The School Chairman; Mr. Ashish Arya, Dr. Neha Arya, Principal; Ms. Asha Goyal & other dignitaries of Sonipat graced the occasion with their esteemed presence. This programme was organised under the commendable guidance of a Dedicated Actor, Playwright, Director and Trainer Mr. Ravi Mohan. Mr. Ravi Mohan has been attached to Media and Stage for 25 years. He performs remarkably well with his co-actors Vivek Mishra, Deepak Kumar and many others. The programme started with the lighting of the lamp. Thereafter the School Chairman; Mr. Ashish Arya welcomed the guests by presenting bouquets.

Ravi Mohan started his theatrical group with his father Sh. Ras Bihari in Safidon. He has acted and directed 15 plays marvellously and skilfully. He has been honoured with many prizes from time to time and has been a role model for the young artists in the acting field.

On the first day, the actors enacted the play ‘Maria Farar’ written by a German poet Bertolt Brecht. The play conveyed the message that women also deserve equal rights & opportunities as men but society is totally indifferent towards the women.

On the second day, a dual character play ‘Doosra Aadmi Doosri Aurat’ written by Vibha Rani was performed. It highlighted the increasing trend of interpersonal relationship in the society and won the applaud of the audience.

On the third day, the young artist & Director Ravi Mohan tried to instil patriotism in the audience through his play ‘Rezang La’. It depicted the hard and struggling life of the Indian Army at -50 degree temperature. The wonderful and emotional performance brought tears in the eyes of the audience.

The School Chairman; Mr. Ashish Arya felt obliged to the members of the Ras Kala Manch and expressed his heartfelt thanks to them. He honoured all the members by presenting them tokens of love. He motivated the youth to join the stage activities. The programme ended with refreshment party for the members of the Kala Manch.
