Achievements

Closing Ceremony of Little Angels Women Hockey Sonipat Series 2019 was held on 11 July, 2019 in Sector-14, Sonipat by Sunday Hockey Players and Little Angels School in a grand style. The Chief Guest was Devender Kadyan, Chairman of Mannat Group of Hotels. The Guests of Honour were Little Angels School Chairman; Ashish Arya & Lalit Kumar Vats, Senior Manager (Human Resource Services) North India Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Noida. This league was organised by Sunday Hockey Players and Little Angels School. On this occasion Manender Kadyan (Ex. En. Electricity Department, Sonipat), Sunita Malik(General Secretary, Hockey, Haryana), Sunita Khatri (Silver Medallist in Asian Games), Ajay Saroha (International Hockey Player), Sandeep Sangwan (Ex. Coach of Indian Hockey Team), Neha Goyal (Silver Medallist of Asian Games), Jyoti (International Hockey Player), Nisha (International Hockey Player), Pritam Siwach (Arjun Awardee) & Surender Kundu (International Hockey Player) were present. Arjun Awardee Pritam Siwach welcomed the Guests with bouquets. In this series Sonipat Bulls, Eagle, Warriors & Mastang teams participated. This series continued for 15 days. First match was played between Sonipat Bulls and Warriors & adjubitate by the umpire of International repute. The players were highly energetic & enthusiastic. The final match of this series was also played between Sonipat Bulls & Warriors. Four matches of 15 minutes each were played during this match. The players of National and International repute were the participants. Sonipat Bulls won the match 2-1 score. The winning team was awarded Running Trophy by the Chief Guest Devender Kadyan. He appreciated the sportsmanship of the players and inspired them to glorify the name of the country at International level also. He also commended the efforts of Little Angels School Chairman; Mr. Ashish Arya in the field of sports. Mr. Ashish Arya has always made tireless efforts to provide the players with all the facilities. He congratulated the players on their remarkable achievements & motivated them to add more gems in the crown of India. Lalit Kumar Vats presented sports kits and Manender Kadyan presented mementos to all the players. On this occasion saplings were also planted by the players. In the end Arjun Awardee Pritam Siwach gave tokens of gratitude to the Chief Guest & the Guest of Honour.
