Mayank proved his mettle by winning a gold medal in the First Haryana State Roller Basketball Championship held in Zed Global School, Jind on 7 and 8 August 2011. He participated in under- 19 category and has been selected for National Roller Basketball Championship to be held in Agra on 30 August 21. He trounced the team from Rohtak in semifinals, and the team from Faridabad in finals.
