Little Angels Boxing Academy Players Win Medals at Jordan in The Asian Youth and Junior Boxing Championship

In the Asian Youth and Junior Boxing Championship played in Jordan, Amman two players of the Little Angels Boxing Academy representing the Indian team, won Gold as well as Bronze medal.

The Championship was played from February 28, 2022 to March 15, 2022. Ravi Sani played in Junior 48 Kg category whereas Vanshaj Chauhan played in Youth 63.5 Kg men category, representing the Indian team. Both of them gave their all to secure medals for the nation. Ravi Sani was dominant during his 48kg pre-quarterfinal bout and outclassed U.A.E. Bader Ali. In quarterfinals, he defeated Thailand's Apchit Chamedi and in semi-final, he defeated Kazakhstan's Baksultan Bournbeck to win the Bronze medal for the nation.

In 63.5 kg men category pre-quarterfinal, Vanshaj Chauhan thrashed Jordan's Abdallah Almarat, he outperformed Iran's Mohammad Parsi in quarterfinal, in semi-final he defeated Syria's Ahmed Naba and finally, he added a Gold to the youth men’s tally, registering a sensational win over Uzbekistan’s Javokhir Ummataliev by a split 4-1 decision in the finals. Vanshaj Chauhan has already clinched several medals for his nation, including bronze medal in the Asian Junior Boxing Championships and Silver medal in the Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships in Dubai, 2021.
