Swati Dhiman, a distinguished alumna of Little Angels School, has been honoured with the prestigious Youth 4 Climate Grant by the United Nations at an International level. This accolade celebrates emerging young environmental leaders worldwide. As part of this esteemed grant, Swati Dhiman has been awarded an International grant of ₹28 Lakhs, a truly immense source of pride for her alma mater and the residents of Sonipat.
Swati Dhiman is a dedicated climate activist, engineer, and social entrepreneur, making significant global contributions in the spheres of environmental protection and sustainable development. She is the visionary founder and head of Aadife, an innovative climate technology project focused on providing access to clean drinking water and renewable energy, such as solar power, in the rural communities of Benin, Africa. Remarkably, she is One of only Four Indians to achieve this prestigious feat. Swati's academic and research journey has been profoundly inspiring. Her in-depth research into complex subjects like climate change, sustainable development, and AI has taken her to esteemed institutions, including Russia's Novosibirsk State University, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and India's highly regarded IIT Bombay. Swati firmly believes that effective solutions to the climate crisis can be forged by seamlessly integrating traditional indigenous and local knowledge with cutting-edge modern technological advancements. Her tireless efforts serve as a powerful inspiration to everyone who aspires to bring about positive change for both society and the environment.
To mark this momentous occasion, a dedicated counselling session was held at the school for Grade XI students. Swati passionately encouraged the students to pursue this path, explaining that a forward-thinking mindset would enable them to achieve continuous progress in the future. The students enthusiastically posed questions driven by their curiosity, and all their queries were answered with clarity and satisfaction. Swati was formally honoured at the school for this remarkable achievement.

Swati, in turn, humbly attributed her success to the unwavering support of her school and teachers, emphasising that it was through their invaluable guidance that she was able to reach this significant milestone.
