Little Angels School, Sonipat, celebrated the 78th Independence Day on August 15, 2024, with great fanfare. The school premises were adorned with vibrant decorations in the three colors of the National Flag. Principal; Ms. Asha Goyal hoisted the tricolor, paying tribute to the freedom fighters who fought for India's independence.
The school orchestra group kicked off the celebrations with mesmerizing patriotic tunes, followed by a soulful rendition of "Iss Vaaste 15 August Hai Hume Pyaara" by the students, which filled the atmosphere with patriotism. A 'One Act Play' presented by the children showcased India's technological advancements and progress, further instilling a sense of national pride. The spirit of patriotism resonated throughout the School campus through ‘Talk Show’ on ‘The Role of Youth in the Nation’s Progress’ by senior students.
Class 9th student Urvashi's mellifluous recitation of a patriotic poem captivated the audience, while the children of Junior School and Little Angels Inclusive School enthralled everyone with their energetic patriotic dance performances. The little ones, dressed in attractive costumes, stole the show with their charming performances.
Dignitaries present at the cultural programme included School Principal; Ms. Asha Goyal, Little Angels Inclusive School Principal; Ms Sonia Arora, Vice Principal; Ms. Geeta Arora, Teachers, and other esteemed guests. The Principal; Ms. Asha Goyal congratulated the children and city residents on Independence Day, urging students to remain humble and respectful towards the freedom fighters and the nation. The Vice Principal; Ms. Geeta Arora emphasized the importance of goodwill, respect, and equality towards each other as a true indicator of patriotism.
The little angelians, dressed as freedom fighters, exhibited zeal and enthusiasm, taking a pledge for the nation's welfare. The programme concluded with the distribution of prasad and a rendition of the national anthem. The School Chairman; Shri Tarsem Kumar Garg, Secretary; Dr. Vishal Garg, Principal; Ms. Asha Goyal, and Vice Principal; Ms. Geeta Arora extended their warm wishes to everyone on the 78th Independence Day.
