In addition to giving children a high-quality education, teachers encourage and pique their natural curiosity about solving problems. Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great fanfare at Little Angels School, Sonepat on 5th September 2022 to honour and celebrate the bond between a student and teacher. This is the day we all acknowledge the challenges, hardships, and sacrifices made by educators to open minds and hearts of their students to new possibilities and to help them contribute meaningfully to the immediate community and the world at large.
An exhilarating assembly was conducted by angelians to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the great scholar, educationist, former President of India, Bharat Ratna Awardee and above all the greatest teacher of all times. The School Chairman; Shri Tarsem Garg and the School Secretary; Mr. Vishal Garg appreciated and acknowledged the efforts & hard work of the teachers, who shape noble and responsible individuals. The School Principal; Ms. Asha Goyal, the Vice-Principal; Ms. Geeta Arora, the Principal of Little Angels Inclusive School; Ms. Sonia Arora graced the occasion and wished the educators a Happy Teachers’ Day.
First of all, the Angelians welcomed the Principal, Ms. Asha Goyal, and teachers with beautiful bouquets, handmade cards and roses and entertained through captivating performances.
The celebration continued with a spectacular programme that was held at S.K. Park Blu, Murthal, after a movie screening at Miraj Cinema, Sonepat, which was reserved specifically for all the teachers. Everyone enjoyed the famous dance troupe performances at retro, bollywood and fusion songs, while singers Vishwajeet and Jyoti enthralled the audience with their melodious songs. The comedy of Amit Verma took the spotlight with his perfect comic timing. To capture the ideal souvenir photo, everyone posed at the selfie stations. The teachers revel in the elaborate feast put up and served on this day.
In the end, the School Principal; Ms. Asha Goyal in her address greeted teachers who spread the joys of education among young minds, paid homage to former president Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary and thanked the School Chairman; Shri Tarsem Garg and The School Secretary; Mr. Vishal Garg for making the day a special and memorable one.
