Sports Day was celebrated in Little Angels Sports Complex on 24th November, 2019 with great pomp & show. The Chief Guest of the day was Honourable Sh. Surender Pawar (MLA, Sonepat). The distinguished guest was International Hockey Player & Arjun Awardee; Sh. Sandeep Singh (Sports, Printing & Stationery Minister, Haryana). The Guests of Honour were Dr. Anshaj Singh IAS (DC, Sonepat), Sh. Keldeep Dahiya (Distt. Education Officer, Sonepat), Sh. U.S. Malhotra & Dr. Deepak Chandra. The eminent Guests were Smt. Nirmala Devi (Distt. Sports Officer, Sonepat), Sh. Sunil Malik (General Secretary, Hockey, Haryana), Sh. Kuldeep Siwach and Ms. Pritam Siwach.

The School Chairman; Mr. Ashish Arya, Dr. Neha Arya & Principal; Ms. Asha Goyal welcomed the guests by presenting bouquets. The sky was overcast with colourful balloons which were released to declare the Sports Meet open.

The Gymnastics Hall in Little Angels Sports Complex was inaugurated by Reverend Sh. Surender Pawar (MLA, Sonepat), Arjun Awardee; Sh. Sandeep Singh (State Sports, Printing & Stationary Minister) inaugurated Hockey Ground, Sh. Anshaj Singh IAS, Hon’ble DC, Sonepat inaugurated Little Angels Indoor Cricket Nets.

The School Band played melodious tunes on which the cadets, prefects & the sports persons of the School paraded in the ground & saluted the Eminent guests. An enchanting welcome song was sung by the students to give a warm welcome to the guests. The Headmistress; Ms. Geeta Arora made the spectators aware of the cultural activities, sports and academic achievements of the School. Little kids stole the show by their presentation in Plant & Pot Drill. All the spectators were wonderstruck to see the colourful performance in Fan Drill. The coordination & synchronisation in the performance of the special students of Inclusive School were outstanding. Gymnastics skills displayed by the young gymnasts were out of world. The little kids in Sports mania Drill rocked the stage with their mind blowing performance. The Guests honoured the National & International achievers with mementoes. A prize of Rs. 51,000 was given away to the Little Angels Girls Hockey Team for winning CBSE National Hockey Championship.

The young Eco-ambassadors on carts with their messages to the society to Save Water, Save Environment, Health and Education for All and Cleanliness All Around were a treat to the eyes.

The Distinguished Guest Arjun Awardee; Sh. Sandeep Singh motivated the children to participate in sports & remain away from junk foods & mobile phones. He shared his personal life experiences & told about his journey from the wheel chair to the International victory. He appealed to the parents not to let their minor children drive vehicles and urged all to follow the traffic rules in letter & in spirit.

The Chief Guests; Sh. Surender Pawar appreciated the performances of the blooming Angelians. He applauded the achievements of the players at National & International levels & motivated them to excel in future also.

The Sports Complex was decorated like a bride. The little angelians clad in colourful, costumes mesmerized all & sundry. The stage was well coordinated by Ms. Sushmita & Ms. Vinita who made the spectators spellbound with their motivational compering. During the cultural performances the thought provoking messages were given by the blooming buds. The School Chairman; Mr. Ashish Arya presented the tokens of love & gratitude to the Guests of the day. He felt obliged to the Chief Guest, Guests of Honour & the parents of the students for their esteemed presence. He stressed the importance of leading a cultured & civilized life. The programmed ended successfully with the recitation of the National Anthem.
