Annual Function and Grand Exhibition Stole the Show

Little Angels School Sonipat organised its most awaited Annual Function and Exhibition magnificently on Saturday, 9th December, 2023. The annual function was based on the theme: 'Sonder- Embracing the Timeless, Ageless Eternal Journeys of Different Souls'. The Chief Guest; Mrs.Kavita Jain (Former Cabinet Minister, Government of Haryana), the Executive Guest; Dr. Rajshree Singh IPS, IG, HPA, Madhuban, Karnal and the Guest of Honour; Dr. Jai Kishore (CMO, Sonipat) graced the auspicious occasion and added a touch of elegance to this event. The School Secretary; Dr. Vishal Garg, Principal; Ms. Asha Goyal, Vice Principal; Ms. Geeta Arora, Inclusive School Principal; Ms. Sonia Arora welcomed the esteemed guests with bouquets.

The event commenced with lighting of the lamp and invocation to the Almighty for His abundant grace and blessings. The School Choir presented a welcome song- a medley of melody that filled everyone with great joy and excitement. More than a hundred young symphonic players presented an exceptional Orchestral performance which enthralled the extraordinary audience. Thereafter, the School Principal; Ms. Asha Goyal read out the Annual Report and provided the clear and concise overview of the school's scholastic and co- scholastic achievements.

Then the School Management and esteemed Guests conferred trophies and cash awards to the meritorious students in academics and sports. A total amount of Rs. 80000 was given to the academic achievers as cash prize.

Disha Dahiya was given a cash prize of Rs. 11000/- for securing the First position in the city Sonipat in class 12th. The proud students who scored 90% and above in class 12th were given Rs. 1000/- each. Along with this, the Sports Stars who brought laurels to the School at National and International Championships were given trophies. Differently abled children of Little Angels Inclusive School were also given awards for their best performances in the sports.

After the award ceremony, the spectacular dance performances of Angelians spellbound the audience and made them crazy with their classical dance moves. A wonderful dance performance was also given by the special children of which left everyone dumbstruck. The Hydraulic-multilayer stage added beauty and thrill to the dance performances.

The Annual Function, based on the theme 'Sonder', was divided into five main acts which reflected the stories of endurance, courage, perseverance, love, compassion and growth.

By bringing alive the characters of Padamshree awardee Sujeet Chattopadhyay, Hiraben, Himesh etc. on stage, the young artists showed the way to live life in a fruitful way. The dramatization of Priya’s courage, a victim of acid attack, filled the audience with awe and empathy.

Prayaas, the School Exhibition was also theme based i.e. the 'Safarnama- souls in boundless voyage of life and a journey of hope' which was imbued with creativity and drenched in innovative ideas. It was truly a wake up call for all to embrace sustainability diversity, show empathy, and find inspiration in human spirit's resilience. A 'Hobby Corner', a cherry on the cake, was the reflection of various art forms and 'best out of waste'. In this, children showcased their creativity and thinking by displaying various kinds of attractive items. In this exhibition the students made portraits, paintings, posters, and charts with 3D effects on spiritualism, environment protection and how to use natural resources which were beyond imagination.

In her speech, the Chief Guest; Ms. Kavita Jain (Former Cabinet Minister, Government of Haryana) congratulated the School Management for organising such a wonderful event which was worth visiting and source of inspiration for other schools. She wholeheartedly acknowledged the sincere endeavours of the School Management for producing the responsible citizens for new Developed Bharat. The School Secretary; Dr. Vishal Garg thanked the Chief Guest, Special Guests and Parents for gracing the occasion. He expressed his gratitude by giving away the mementoes to the esteemed guests.

The Vice Principal; Ms. Geeta Arora expressed her deep sense of appreciation and extended heartfelt thanks to all parents, children and staff for their enormous cooperation and making the gala event a huge success.

The Grand Finale was the spectacular culmination of Talent and Creativity. The stage was adorned with decoration props and lighting that enhanced the beauty of performances and presentation. From Traditional cultural dances to contemporary musical compositions radiated energy and enthusiasm and reflected the cultural diversity and artistic process of the School.

The programme ended with the National Anthem and sweet memories.
