Annual Function by Junior Students of Little Angels School

The annual function based on the theme ‘Yugen -Weaving Dreams Discerning Beauty in the Tapestry of the Infinite and Mystic Universe’ was grandly organized by the Junior School students of Little Angels School, Sonipat on Sunday, 10th December, 2023. This grand function organized in the school expressed the story of its success. The school has achieved unprecedented success in these 30 years. Be it the field of education or sports, the school has demonstrated its success brilliantly.

Honourable Guests Shri Lalit Batra (Ex Vice Chairman, Public Enterprises Haryana Government) and Shri Naveen Gulia (DEO Sonipat) graced the occasion with their esteemed presence. The School Principal; Ms. Asha Goyal, Vice Principal; Ms. Geeta Arora, Little Angels Inclusive School Principal; Ms. Sonia Arora and other dignitaries were also present. All the guests and the dignitaries were greeted by applying tilak, putting badges and presenting bouquets.

The Annual Function was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. The programme started with welcoming the guests by the School Orchestra and welcome song. Everyone was mesmerized with the enchanting tunes of various instruments played by more than 100 children. Thereafter, the Annual Report was read out by the School Principal; Ms. Asha Goyal, in which detailed information about all the activities and achievements of the school was given.

After this, a cash prize of Rs. 11000 was given to Vanshika Nandal, who stood First in class 12th in Sonipat in the session 2021-22, and a total amount of Rs. 70000 was given to the students who scored more than 90 percent marks. Along with this, the winning players at National and International level were given trophies and they were motivated to perform well in future also. Specially abled children of Little Angels Inclusive School were also given trophies as awards for their best performances in the Sports World.

A colourful programme was presented on the theme of 'Yugen'. During this programme, children staged the struggle for life of a visually impaired person through a drama and showed the direction of living life with a positive attitude. Along with this, they brought alive on the stage the subjects like the thrill of mountain climbing, the contribution of voluntary social organizations in the upliftment of the society, the impact of natural disasters on life and how the people kept humanity supreme and supported each other during those times.

The children enthralled everyone with their spectacular dance performances. All the songs and dances made people dance in their seats. A wonderful presentation was also given by the special children of Little Angels Inclusive School, which left everyone astonished. During all these colourful performances, hydraulic multilayer stage was used along with the use of new technology. The children got an opportunity to hone and showcase their hidden talents.

Through the 'Yugen' theme, an attempt was made to convey that beauty is scattered in every particle of nature. Beauty exists within us and this beauty leads us to follow moral values. Just as a deer has a musk in its navel and goes around searching for it, similarly goodness is within man, but he tries to find it outside.

The 'Safarnama' exhibition was inaugurated by the Chief Guest. Various types of 3-D charts and models caught everyone's attention. The attractive models and paintings on the Art of Living Foundation Centre, Shantiniketan, National School of Drama, Nalanda University, McLeod Ganj Monastery, National Academy of Music, Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Ram Mandir etc. captivated everyone. This magnificent exhibition created by children and teachers showcased everyone's hard work and creativity.

The 'Hobby Corner' was unique in itself. Children displayed their creativity and ideas by showing attractive and interesting things conveying eco-friendly message. The magnificent decorations and attractive objects grabbed everyone's attention.

During his speech, the Honourable Guest; Sh. Lalit Batra ji appreciated the programme. He said that Little Angels Inclusive School is making commendable efforts for the all-round development of Special Children. He praised the 3-D models and charts made by the students. The Distinguished Guest; Sh. Naveen Gulia ji applauded the efforts of the students and the teachers to make this function a memorable one. The School Principal; Ms. Asha Goyal expressed her gratitude by giving mementoes to the honorable guests. The Vice-Principal; Ms. Geeta Arora expressed her gratitude to the guests, parents and the entire school family for making this grand event a great success. The presentation of the Grand Finale stole the show. This programme was greatly appreciated by all and sundry. The programme ended with the National Anthem.
