Little Angels School Expresses Gratitude Towards Corona Frontline Warriors

Little Angels School, Sonipat lauds the efforts of Police amid COVID- 19 lockdown. After seeing the compassionate and humane side of Police in Sonipat during lockdown, the School Chairman, Ashish Arya expressed his desire to the Police Superintendent to honour the Haryana Police personnel for their selfless service. On his direction, Deputy Superintendent, Ravinder Kumar helped in starting this campaign of showing gratitude towards police from Geeta Bhawan Chowk, Sonipat. Ashish Arya garlanded all the police staff deployed there as a mark of respect and gratitude. He said, “As the city continues to remain under lockdown, police officials across state have been the frontline warriors in the fight against the deadly Corona virus. The police is the most vulnerable community after the medical fraternity who are working in adverse conditions. In this scenario, the entire nation has seen that they have tried to put themselves in a new role of saviors. During lockdown, the police force has turned into a non-violent peace brigade. They are doing a range of jobs: enforcing the lockdown, contact tracing, manning check-points, providing security at high-risk zones like hospitals, quarantine centres and containment zones, and - importantly - calming people's fears about Coronavirus. Apart from the difficulties involving interminable working hours and long separation from families, being on the front lines means getting sick themselves but still they work tirelessly to safeguard the citizens.” He showed his humble gratitude towards them and distributed packets of food and juices to all the policemen deployed there. Around 500 police personnel were honoured in the different parts of city highways and other check posts in Sonipat. They were not only delighted but felt pride for being honored for their selfless service. Mr. Ashish Arya thanked Police Superintendent for providing the opportunity to express his deepest gratitude towards them. Anil Sharma, Ashok Sharma, Bachchan and Hukum Singh from the school participated to make this campaign successful.
