Model Polling Booth of Little Angels School Welcomes Voters


Little Angels School was selected as the Model Poling Booth No. 108 & 109 in the 17th Lok Sabha Election Voting in Sonepat. The School Management provided various facilities for it. All the voters were welcomed with smearing of tilak on their foreheads and presenting bouquets. The polling booth was fully air conditioned. The students of the school helped the old age people to reach the polling booth on the wheel chairs. All the voters were presented with the badges ‘I am proud, I have voted for my Country’. All the voters felt delighted while taking selfies at the Selfie Corner.

The School created a welcome gate at Rathdhana Road to welcome the voters and the road leading to School was covered with flex boards also. A welcome gate was also created at the entrance of the School & Red Carpets were spread from the entrance to the polling booth. All the services including medical service were provided to the voters.

The feeling of patriotism was around among the voters by playing patriotic songs & light music. There was provision for clean drinking water and washrooms were got cleaned from time to time. The students of NCC & School Prefect Council were appointed on duties at different venues.

All the voters expressed their zeal to see the Model Polling Booth at Little Angels School. They appreciated the efforts made by students at the booth.

On this great occasion, the School Chairman; Mr. Ashish Arya made an appeal to all the voters to participate actively in voting & help build a true democracy. He told that the parents of the students were requested to vote by SMS, Flex Boards & Video Messages. He also told that their vote will be helpful in their children’s future building.
